Go-getter Bokang, Miss Global Princess South Africa 2026, Not Just a pretty face!

Johannesburg, South Africa – At just 16 years old, Bokang Relebohile Maseli is already building a future that extends far beyond the pageant stage. Recently crowned Miss Global Princess South Africa 2026, the Grade 10 learner from Pinnacle College Copperleaf is entering her reign with a vision that brings together youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, education, law and international business.

For Bokang, winning the title represents more than a pageant achievement. It gives her a platform to encourage young people, particularly young women, to believe in themselves, pursue their ambitions and recognise that their current circumstances do not have to define their future.

Her journey into pageantry was not driven by a lifelong dream of becoming a beauty queen. Her interest in modelling developed as she became more confident in herself, while the encouragement and support of her mother played an important role in helping her take opportunities and step into new spaces. Now, she wants to use the platform created by her crown to create opportunities for others.

Raise Her: Turning A Crown into A Platform

One of the projects at the centre of Bokang’s reign is Raise Her, an upcoming podcast and empowerment platform designed to encourage young women to raise their voices, strengthen their minds and think seriously about their futures.

The concept was born from Bokang’s desire to create something that would have an impact beyond her year as a titleholder.Through Raise Her, she plans to engage women from different backgrounds and create conversations around their journeys, challenges, achievements and lessons. The objective is to show young girls that there is no single path to success and that the experiences of others can provide guidance, encouragement and perspective.

For Bokang, empowerment begins with helping young women understand that their voices matter. The platform will form an important part of her wider vision for her reign, particularly her desire to reach young audiences and encourage them to take their ambitions seriously.

Building A Business While Still in Grade 10

Away from pageantry, Bokang is already developing her entrepreneurial identity. She is the co-owner of TR Cosmetics, a beauty business she established with her sister, Botle. Their journey began with their shared interest and skills in makeup artistry before developing into a broader business vision. Rather than waiting until they were older to pursue entrepreneurship, the two decided to start with what they had and build from there.

TR Cosmetics is now working towards developing its own makeup product line, with different factories engaged as part of the quality-check and development process. The longer-term vision includes establishing a beauty salon where the sisters can offer services while promoting and selling their products. Their ambitions also extend beyond South Africa.

Bokang dreams of seeing TR Cosmetics develop into an international brand with a presence in major markets such as London, Paris and the United States. Her approach reflects a belief that young people can begin building businesses and developing practical skills while still pursuing their education.

A Future in Corporate Law And Global Business

While entrepreneurship forms an important part of her future, Bokang is equally focused on her education. Currently in Grade 10 at Pinnacle College Copperleaf, she is studying Business Studies, Life Sciences and History and plans to pursue a career in law. Her ambition is to become a corporate lawyer while continuing to develop herself as an entrepreneur and businesswoman.

Rather than viewing these ambitions as separate paths, Bokang sees them as complementary. Her interest in law, business and entrepreneurship forms part of a long-term vision to establish herself as a recognised young business leader with an international outlook.

She ultimately wants to build businesses, create opportunities and demonstrate what young people can achieve when they take their ambitions seriously.

A Young Queen with A Bigger Purpose

Bokang’s reign comes at a time when conversations around youth confidence, opportunity and entrepreneurship remain increasingly important. Her message to young women is centred on self-belief and ambition. She wants girls to understand that they do not have to wait for permission to dream, nor should they allow fear or self-doubt to determine what they believe is possible.

At 16, Bokang represents a generation growing up with access to opportunities, digital platforms and entrepreneurial tools that allow young people to begin building their identities and businesses much earlier. Her own journey reflects that approach.

She is simultaneously a Grade 10 learner, pageant titleholder, entrepreneur and aspiring lawyer, while developing an empowerment platform designed to reach other young women. As she begins her year as Miss Global Princess South Africa 2026, Bokang’s focus is therefore not simply on wearing the crown, but on what she can build with the platform it provides. From developing TR Cosmetics and preparing for an international business future to launching Raise Her and pursuing a career in corporate law, her ambitions are already extending well beyond the pageant stage.

For this young queen, the crown is not the destination. It is the platform from which she intends to build what comes next.
