Buoyed by the overwhelming response to Bloemfontein’s first Coffee Extravaganza in 2018, Windmill is doing it again. The Windmill Coffee Extravaganza returns to the Windmill Conference Centre for the 2019 edition on 31 May and 1 June.
The event, hosted in association with the Specialty Coffee Association of South Africa (SCASA), will feature tempting demonstrations and tantalizing tastings, Barista competitions, a Coffee Appreciation Session, delicious food and live entertainment. Explorers can test taste and savour coffees and mouthwatering treats from an array of coffee roasters and food and beverage companies. Competing disciplines in SCASA’s Regional Coffee Competitions are the Cup Tasters competition, the Latte Art competition and the Barista competition.
“A coffee roasting culture is developing all over the country. Coffee enthusiasts are being drawn into this culture and becoming more discerning about their coffee choices. Learn more about appreciating all things coffee at the Windmill Coffee Extravaganza,” says Kamo Mohapi, PR and Promotions manager at Windmill.
Go on a taste adventure at Coffee Extravaganza from 16h00 to 20h00 on 31 May and from 09h00 to 15h00 on 1 June. Entrance is R40 per person. You will receive R40 off your bill when next dining at Windmill’s Rosie’s Brasserie.
