A collective of leading South African artists will bring to life the music of the late Gè Korsten in a spectacular tribute show, Gè Sing: Hoor My Lied, at Carnival City this month.
Collaborating for the musical tribute which reinterprets Korsten’s music in a fresh way, are Andrè Schwartz, Louis Loock, Arina de Witt, Jannie Moolman and the PJ Twins from TV’s The Voice. They will be supported by a full orchestra. Gè Sing: Hoor My Lied, produced by Frans Swart, will take the audience on a journey of Korsten’s life as an artist, man and a father.
“We are thrilled to host on our stage some of our country’s best loved artists in a spectacular tribute to Gè Korsten whose voice fell silent 20 years ago. This promises to be a very special treat for Afrikaans music lovers,” says Michelle Smith, Marketing Manager at Carnival City.
Don’t miss Gè Sing: Hoor My Lied at the Big Top Arena at 20h00 on 31 August 2019. Tickets are priced at R150 per person at Computicket.
