The Fragments is a modern acoustic indie-folk trio with traditional influences.
Henriël plays finger-style guitar and sings, Anusha plays classical lead and Emma provides the perfect vocal balance and harmony. They play wistful, original, acoustic guitar-driven ballads, with a handful of instrumental arrangements.
Their influences are vast and eclectic, ranging from traditional folk and world music – Loreena McKennitt to Ali “Farka” Touré and Dead Can Dance – to modern indie-folk artists like William Fitzsimmons, Fink and Ben Howard, and even a bit of Katy Perry, giving them a rather unique sound guaranteed to provide some fresh, new folk flavours.
The Fragments are very excited to play Lagom Café for the first time on the 2nd of October for an intimate evening of music and stories behind some of the music.
