Taken from the new album, ‘Everyday Life’, out this Nov 22. 2019
Everyday Life is a 53-minute double album that has been split into two parts, Sunrise and Sunset. Everyday Life features guest appearances from Stromae, Femi Kuti, Tiwa Savage and Jacob Collier.
Produced by The Dream Team
The album’s cover image is based around a 1919 photo of guitarist Jonny Buckland’s great- grandfather’s band. The artwork was teased last week in mysterious posters and billboards all around the world, from São Paulo to Tokyo.
Lead singer, Chris Martin describes the release as “our reaction to the perceived negativity that’s everywhere. And there is a lot of trouble, but there’s also so much positivity and so much great life happening. So in a way, it’s just trying to make sense of things, saying what we feel and what we see.”
The band unconventionally announced the album and album reveal via letters to their mega fans and by placing an ad in the classified section of the North Wales Daily Post.
