Today marks the release of “To the Streets”, the latest offering from Cape Town, folk punkers – The Shabs. ‘Growing up in South Africa is an interesting experience.
We’re exposed to so much poverty and systematic oppression on a day to day basis that it’s easy to become desensitized and we struggle to emphathize with those who have nothing.

Following the band’s debut release “Can You Hear Us at The Back”, the band have had multiple successful tours around the country.
The Shabs are kicking 2020 off with a bang by gearing up for their next European tour. The ‘To the Streets’ tour will be their 5th consecutive European Tour starting March 2020 – April 2020. Check out their extensive European tour below.
