FOKOFPOLISIEKAR: Droom Hoog photo exhibition at Fokof Bar – 15 March

The DROOM HOOG exhibition is a series of 22 photographs by Liam Lynch (a long-time Fokofpolisiekar collaborator) and Jaco S. Venter (Fokofpolisiekar’s drummer). In 2018 they documented the recording of the band’s latest EP DROOM HOOG, their brief tour to Europe and life on the road and at home in general.

The first DROOM HOOG exhibition went up at Redemption Burgers and Bar in Cape Town at the end of 2018. On 15th March the exhibition will open at FOKOF BAR in Pretoria.

Instant Gratification

The opening night promises to be a pumping event in true FOKOF-style. The 22 frames on exhibit will be on sale as-is and any purchase can be taken home on the night after 10pm.

The A2 framed prints will cost R2 500 and the A3 framed prints will go for R2000 – what a bargain!

Great giveaways at the exhibition!

There will also be some giveaways on the night. Two lucky attendees will stand the chance to each win a set of double tickets to Rock on the Lawns the following day. To enter the draw, all you have to do is buy a Fokof Lager after 7pm. The winner will be announced at 10pm.

There is more- the first 50 people to order a Fokof Lager after 7pm on the night will get a physical copy of the DROOM HOOG EP.

A Fokof Lager draught costs only R32 at Fokof Bar. Two double brandy and Coke’s in on special for only R50 and if you get hungry you can smash a FOKN Burger for only R35!

FOKOFPOLISIEKAR released their 5th EP called DROOM HOOG on digital platforms on 1st November 2018.

“Droom Hoog” is the first single and music video to be released from this EP.

The music video is weaved together with the song’s lyrics and photographs taken by Liam Lynch and Jaco S. Venter for their exhibition which is also called DROOM HOOG.

Ruan Vermeulen from Bewilder TV conducted these elements to deliver a captivating music video.
