REMEMBER is her first single

Kalene comes from a musical background with her late dad Robert Oliver and her mom Marlene Oliver meeting in a band in Durban, South Africa, its clear Kalene was made for the music industry.

Throughout Kalene’s life she grew up with her guitar player and singer dad, her brothers who all play instruments and sing and her great vocal talent and love for all types of music.

“ My childhood home was like a mad house” she says “ It was so loud, somebody was always playing the drums, saxophone or guitar, I was always in my room singing to Mariah Carey on a mic, imitating every move she made in her music videos,”

Kalene says she has always been able to feel music in a way she thinks most people don’t, she lives and breathes music. Kalene had pursued her studies in marketing as well as business school and worked in many corporate environments, but has recently come back to who she is and her first love which is music.

Kalene is ready to take South African music by storm with her Taylor Swift inspired lyrics and her soothing, sweet vocals that can be sung on anything from POP, RNB to South African House Music. Her lyrics are meaningful, relatable and her beats will be loved by both National and International music lovers.
