Mi Casa team up with Stonebwoy

'Give Me Love' is out now!

With almost fifteen years of history under their belt, Mi Casa have long since become one of the biggest acts on the African continent. Awards and accolades adorn their walls and the hype surrounding this trio shows no sign of abating.

J’Something, Dr. Duda & Mo-T have simply hit a nerve with their sexy pop-funk-jazz concoction and manifested this with their international signing to AIRFORCE1 Records.

At the beginning of this year, the first label-internal collabo was released with Malik Harris, the hyper-talented multi-instrumentalist who also represented Germany at Eurovision Song Contest.

For their new single, however, they have invited a very special feature guest. International superstar Stonebwoy a.k.a. 1GAD from Ghana. With 130 million streams, soon to be 5 million Instagram followers, and more than 1 million TikTok followers. Stonebwoy is also a recipient of two Billboard plaques and has been described as the king of reggae and dance hall in Africa.

“Give Me Love” is the classic Mi Casa sonic melange, Mo-T’s trumpet vibes with a smooth hook over reggaeton beats and almost patois-like vocals and, as always, the song immediately gets you moving. You can taste the cocktails, smell the sea and the dim light blends perfectly with the beats. Crazy stupid love, that’s what it’s all about and the world can’t have enough of it anyway, at any time.

With “Give Me Love”, Mi Casa have once again effortlessly pulled a new hit out of their short sleeves. Stonebwoy should also gain the reputation in the northern hemisphere that he has long enjoyed on his home continent and in many other parts of the world. This collabo team has nothing less than love in its luggage. “Give Me Love” is out today via AIRFORCE1 Records/Universal.
