NEW SPLIT LP WITH MONDAY MORNING JUSTICE!!
Johannesburg punk rock veterans, Misled, have been on the quiet front for a few years now. Members growing their families, new members joining and moving on from a somewhat unexpected acoustic phase has left fans hungry for something familiar. Now with new members active on stage we have been enjoying Misled live again for the past 12 months or so but even all the changes and being busy on stage they have been busy with writing and as it were are dropping their first of a few tasty morsels we can expect this year. In this offering they are joined by punk rock newcomers, Monday Morning Justice, in a 10 track, as punk as it gets, Split!
The “Split” is a tradition as much part of the punk scene as staying in your parent’s spare room for most of your twenties. Both bands recorded at different studios and have completely different offering from the musical kaleidoscope that is punk rock. The album split entitled: “THE OL’ REACH AROUND” is available for download on the WE DID THIS RECORDS BANDCAMP Now and as always any donations are encouraged. If you like what you hear you can catch both bands going at it this coming weekend on the Teenage Bottlerocket tour in Johannesburg and Durban.
Hard copies will be available at the Teenage Bottlerocket show!!
About We Did This Records:
We Did This Records are not a “record label” but rather a D.I.Y collective from the South African underground music community. We focus on local punk rock, folk, ska, crust, noise-rock, Post-Rock and all that jazz… and Cami is in a circus group…
They are D.I.Y, non-profit and run a free/donation based music distro.
All donations received go into printing stickers (distributed for free), mix tapes / CDs (distributed for free / cost price), sponsoring studio time… In theory… In reality the amount they get in donations barely keeps the bank account open from month to month… We know bank accounts are not punk… We are sorry… Capitalism is evil…
