Dirty Poet rapper from Cape Town who began rapping in 2012 whilst in Durban plans to takeover the music industry with his sound.

The young artist has taken a different step with his music career, a step that saw him quitting his job in Cape Town and moving all the way to Lagos, Nigeria to launch his career.

Signed to Cash Hop, Dirty Poet has released his first single Questions on digital platforms Soundcloud and Audiomack.

The single was produced in South Africa by Mr Kamera and Zino D and it definitely has potential to top the charts.

BIOGRAPHY

Dirty Poet was born on 25 June in 1998. He grew up mostly in
Cape Town but also lived in Durban for a while. He started
rapping in Durban in the year 2012 after a friend of his asked
him to write a verse for him for a song he was going to do in a
two-man crew he had just been recruited in.
The name Dirty Poet came from a conversation he had with a
friend. After watching a cypher video on the friend’s phone who
said: “Rap is dirty poetry!”
Dirty Poet music is still evolving, We can’t really put a label on
it. He likes to be creative in my style of writing, cleverly
executing lyrics that will result in enjoyable and meaningful
