Serenity is a South African born singer-songwriter, currently living in Johannesburg. After a year-long hiatus from the music industry and some time spent abroad in Los Angeles and London, she is back with her new single, ‘Goddess’. The song is anthemic with a strong beat and message of self-love and self-worth, as well as an all-round feel-good vibe. Serenity’s smooth and sultry vocals shine throughout, and you can expect a few goosebumps moments.
“Goddess is about realizing your own worth and owning who you are. It’s meant to celebrate the goddess-like quality in all of us and I wrote it to inspire self-love in others, the way it inspired self-love in me.” Explains Serenity on the inspiration behind the track.
Serenity worked with local artists Shannon Ellen and Bradley Roberts for the visually captivating lyric video for the track.
