Casio have announced the CT-X series of keyboards which feature advanced specifications for advanced beginners to serious performers. All models feature the new AiX Sound leveraging expertise that Casio accumulated in developing sound sources for its digital pianos.
The AiX Sound Source allows the CT-X keyboards to faithfully reproduce the appealing sound of acoustic instruments such as guitars, drums, basses, brass, wind instruments, string ensembles and more.
The CT-X series represents an unprecedented level of sound quality for Casio which is a direct result of the new AiX processor.
The CT-X series is the first among Casio’s product portfolio to use this technology and we look forward to implementing it in future products, as we continue to raise the industry bar for both quality and performance.
The CT-X series provides high-performance Digital Signal Processor (DSP) effects that combine various algorithms to realise the perfect effect for each instrument sound. The CT-X700 and CT-X800’s stunning instrument tones are perfect for beginners or advanced players that need an affordable and portable instrument while the CT-X3000 and CT-X5000 provide additional tones and DSP editing features, expression pedal inputs as well as more powerful speaker systems.
The CT-X3000 has a 6W+6W speaker system and the CT-X5000 has an incredible 15W+15W high-output amplifier delivering powerful sound output for rehearsal or performance applications.

- Registration Function for Instant Recall of Performance Setups
- The Registration function enables the user to save up to 128 keyboard setups including tones and rhythms. The user can instantly switch between complex playing patterns and tone/rhythm setups without configuring them every time, enabling versatile and seamless performance.
- Composing and Arranging Features Help Bring Ideas to Life
- In addition to configuring and saving tones and rhythms to suit the user, the keyboards provide a variety of features for composing and arranging. The Phrase Recorder allows users to record a musical phrase that can be instantly triggered using any of the four pads. The mixer can handle 42 different parts and the 17-track MIDI sequencer can save up to 10 original songs.

Also provided are an audio input jack for connecting external audio equipment, and a class-compliant USB port for connecting to a computer. An additional USB port supports memory devices to easily save and load data created on the CT-X5000/X3000.
- Friendly User Interface Offers a Wide Range of Applications
- The keyboards provide an expanded Registration function and four phrase pads, together with direct access buttons for Tap Tempo, Transpose, and Octave switching making the keyboards suitable for stage and live performances, as well as music schools and music classrooms.

PRODUCT : Casiotone CT-S200 – Lightweight, Compact Portable Digital Keyboard
Casio has launched the Casiotone CT-S200, a digital keyboard designed for convenient portability and functionality. The new keyboard is easy to carry so users can enjoy making music in all kinds of locations.
The new CT-S200 keyboard is portable and mobile, made possible by its compact size of 930 mm × 256 mm × 73 mm, light weight of only 3.3kg, grip for one-handed carrying, and about 16 hours of operation with alkaline batteries.
Casio has also made the new keyboard even easier to operate, for instance by employing a simple interface layout using a dial, offering a home button to allow users to return to the original screen at any time, and adding a button for saving users’ favourite musical tones and rhythms and immediately calling them up.
The new speakers feature stronger magnets and a function that optimises equalisation in tandem with volume, delivering great sound that no one would expect from such a compact keyboard. The new keyboard also comes with features that enable users to enjoy music in diverse ways, such as the Dance Music Voices for dance music, and Chordana Play app connectivity to make practicing fun.
As a part of the new Casiotone lineup, Casio is also announcing the release of the CT-S300, a high-end model with a Touch Response keyboard; the CT-S100, an entry-level model; and the LK-S250, which has a key lighting system that guides users by lighting the next keys to play.
Driven by the desire to create musical instruments that anyone can easily enjoy playing, in January 1980 Casio released the Casiotone 201, a digital keyboard which could replicate the tones of a variety of instruments. This was the beginning of the company’s musical instrument business. Since then, Casio has developed many different products that enabled more and more people to easily and conveniently enjoy beautiful sound.
As it approaches its 40th anniversary in the musical instrument business in January 2020, Casio has revisited the beginnings of the business and revived the Casiotone name. Going forward, Casio will continue to expand the Casiotone lineup of digital keyboards that can be easily enjoyed by all kinds of people, aiming to spread the joy of playing music far and wide.

With a compact size of 930 mm x 256 mm x 73 mm, and about 16 hours of operation with alkaline batteries, the CT-S200 lets users enjoy music wherever they like. The light weight of only 3.3 kg and the grip at the top of the keyboard make it very easy to carry.
Interface easy to use for everyone
The CT-S200 features a simple, intuitive interface, offering an organised layout with fewer buttons by using both a full dot LCD screen and dial. It is also equipped with a home button that lets users return to the original screen at any time, making for a superior multi-function keyboard with enhanced usability.
Sound no one would expect from such a compact keyboard
The use of 13 cm x 6 cm oval speakers with strengthened magnets delivers surprisingly great sound for such a compact instrument. An additional function that optimizes the equaliser in tandem with the volume provides balanced sound from the bass to the highs, even at low volumes.
Dance Music Mode and Voices expand ways to enjoy playing
The CT-S200 includes a mode that lets users put together drum, bass, and synthesizer phrases to easily enjoy dance music, as well as 12 types of Dance Music Voices that sound great with dance music. Just press along with the rhythm to add accents to ordinary playing and enjoy dance music.
Chordana Play app connectivity to make practicing fun
Connecting the CT-S200 to the Chordana Play app installed on a smartphone or tablet allows users to play the right notes, without reading a musical score, by striking keys in rhythm with the bars that come down from above. The app’s scoring feature gives practice the fun feel of a game.
