Afrikaans singer Higgo making waves with his latest Single ‘Soon It Will be Ours’
Higgo has been turning heads with his outstanding collaborations and contemporary ideas from the get go! Combining influences, he has created a fresh new pop vibe trending the new age music market.
The history of the sensational artist is prodigious. Newspapers penned many an article regarding the inspiring Higgo from being one of the youngest on the African Continent to ascend Mount Everest Base Camp, Gokyo Ri, Cho La Pass and Kalapathar in 2014 at the age of 14, to an avid entrepreneur highlighting problems in rural areas.
The South African artist based in Stellenbosch Cape Town circulated his first album called ‘Journey’ in 2017.
In April 2018 he released his new single “Motormouth” from his second Album “Authentic” pulling crowds all over South Africa and placing him in the top 10 spots on Radio Stations abroad. This has opened opportunities for him to share stages with some top well-known South African artists like Francois van Coke and Jasper Dan.
In Sep 2018 the collaboration with Jayden Marais showcased a different side of the artist. The single “Tell me so” was one of the 2018 highlights for the him and he didn’t stop there. Higgo also released his Ep “Misconceptions” in Sep 2018. The EP consisted of 3 songs and “Help my maar” was his first Afrikaans single released.
Higgo steers his own ship when it comes to song writing abilities and composing comes very natural to the artist.
Recently he collaborated with pop icon Daniel Baron and Producer Lanky Jake contributing to the major success that brought “La La Lovely” to the music scene trending as a big favourite on both commercial and community radio station playlists ranking nr1 on Algoa FM and nr4 on Jacaranda FM for weeks.
Higgo made sure that 2019 ended off with a bang when he released his third Album “Loopholes” which is available on all online music platforms.
In April of this year Higgo released his latest single “Soon it will be ours”
The energy of the feel good song categorizes the artist as one of South African’s top pop acts showcasing his musical ability on an International level.
