Afro-Pop Singer Ze2 releases soulful new track ‘Soka Lami’ featuring Zakwe
Afro-pop songstress Ze2 (Zethu) has released her new single ‘Soka Lami‘ – a soulful expression of a young womans yearning to attain the man she wants to share life and all it’s experiences with. Her Love interest, featuring Zakwe, assures her of his availability and dedication should she want him.
Both Ze2 & Zakwe deliver stellar performances worthy of hitting ‘repeat’. Ze2 had this to say about the single; “I was inspired by a voice note from a long lost partner who left and never looked back… The song is written in narration or description on how my life was during his absence.”

About Ze2
Afro-pop singer, ‘Ze2‘ born, 3 March 1994 as Zethu Nhlangulela, hails from Durban, Umlazi Township. She is a versatile singer, who specializes in Afro-Pop music. She began her music career 10 years ago and has performed on several musical programs, events and venues across KZN.
She has worked with numerous well-known artists such as Zakwe, Amanda Black, Spirit Banger, Musiholiq, X-Wise, Rafiki, Mzulu, CampMasters, FunkyQla, and Dj Nkoh. Ze2 is currently studying Logistics Management at the University of Zululand.
Ze2 is also a mother of two beautiful girls who are her biggest motivation. In the past, she participated in numerous competitions and won a feature to sing with Amanda Black. She is a regular performer at events around Umlazi, even performing for free just to show gratitude for her community’s support.
Ze2 is very family orientated and very grateful for her brother and parent’s presence and input in her life. Their love, dedication and support of her music has helped her sow a seed of passion and devotion for singing and music that continues to grow.
