Faraway George’s new single ‘Hold Up’ will encourage you to overcome any doubt!
Popular folk-singer, Faraway George released his much anticipated album, Burnt & Found early in 2020.
The first three singles taken from his album were ‘Sugar Cane‘, ‘Armour‘ and ‘Hey Sister‘, which were all very well received by radio stations nationwide! Following his success, Faraway George just dropped his fourth single from the album, ‘Burnt & Found’
‘Hold Up’ is written by Faraway George and his brother, Fritz Günter.
“The song was originally going to be named the same title as the album, but ‘Hold Up’ was chosen to fit in with the story of the song,” says Faraway George.
“Hold Up’ is about conquering self doubt and things that are beyond your control. It’s about meeting your true love along the road and venturing forward together,” he explains.
Faraway George’s music can be described as a blend of Folk Acoustic and Indie complemented by definite hints of Country. His music inspires you to return to a state of appreciation for people and separate what is important in life from the noise of earthly things.
