On the 14th April, SA Music News Team Join VenusRaps at a listening session at Maod in Maboneng Johannesburg. The purpose of the gathering was to share an intimate experience with VenusRap’s as she showcased her just released EP titled “Superstar“. The event was a great success, and the audience got to know the artist on a more personal level while enjoying some really great music. VenusRaps is well known for her “in your face” lyricism, but her new EP surprised us with its melodic tunes and deeper exploration of her vocals, as well as the fun side to the up and coming rapper.
During the event, VenusRap’s guitarist delivered a phenomenal performance, making the entire experience all the more memorable. The EP features many great collaborations, including that of Buzzi Lee, Mata, and Hāzy and we cannot wait to hear what VenusRaps has in store for us in the near future. She did disclose that she has three more exciting projects in the vault, which is fantastic news for her loyal followers.

The intimate setting of the event allowed us to connect with the music and the artist in a way that is inaccessible at a larger concert setting. We got to witness VenusRap’s true passion for her craft, and it was inspiring to see her in her element, sharing her new music with us. She delivered a stellar performance, exhibiting raw skill and captivating the audience with her melodic offerings.
