'No more can be done' Album launch at the Masque Theatre in Muizenberg, Cape Town

P+A+G+E+S Announce Official Album Launch Show – Following the widespread critical acclaim of their debut studio album No More Can Be Done, South African atmospheric noise, drone, doom, sludge punk and post-metal trio P+A+G+E+S will host their official album release show on Saturday, 7 February 2026, at the Masque Theatre in Muizenberg, Cape Town.

For this one-night event, P+A+G+E+S will be joined by two boundary-pushing acts. The gothic swamp existential blues of Emmaleen Tangleweed with Lliezel Ellick, and the haunting, cinematic dreamscapes of Constellatia.

After months of planning and organizing, P+A+G+E+S are really excited to finally put on our album release show with the support of the amazing line up of Constellatia as well Emmaleen Tangleweed with Lliezel Ellick. This will be an evening of dark, emotive expression. The sounds of swamp goth blues, haunting cinematic dream scapes, black metal and slow crushing doom.” — P+A+G+E+S

More about No More Can Be Done Album

The album officially released on 25 October 2025. No More Can Be Done marks the culmination of years of deliberate evolution for the trio. Namely, Caitlin Mkhasibe (drums), Frank Lunar (bass), and helo samo (guitar, vocals, sampling). No More Can Be Done is produced by Simon Ratcliffe at Sound & Motion Studios. The album is a towering, slow-burning meditation on grief, environmental collapse, systemic oppression, and perseverance in a decaying world.

Written between 2019 and 2024, with pandemic interruptions shaping its emotional gravity, the record distils overwhelming global anxieties. Stark mantras, spectral vocals, and crushing, dissonant riff work. Tracked live in one room to preserve raw intensity, the album moves from chaotic noise metamorphosis to mechanical industrial weight and deliberate, monolithic doom. The artwork, created by helo samo, depicts the stages of a dandelion’s life cycle. Signifying resilience amid ruin.

Across five tracks, No More Can Be Done stands as a statement of resistance. Urging listeners to confront environmental degradation. To stand firmly with BIPOC, women, LGBTQI+, and human and animal rights.
