Tapputi Celebrate 3rd birthday in Fayoum Desert – A vision eight years in the making! Tapputi marks its 10th milestone shoot, launches its Festive Season Collection, and celebrates its clients: One Tribe, One Essence.

Luxury perfume house Tapputi Egyptian Perfume Oils, owned by Tapputi International Ltd, celebrated its 3rd birthday and 10th milestone shoot with a cinematic production set deep in Egypt’s Fayoum Desert, where golden sands meet the shimmering Magic Lake.

The shoot, themed “Golden Essence – A Gift of Timeless Luxury,” not only captures a dream eight years in the making but also marks the launch of Tapputi’s Festive Season Collection and the exquisite Nefertiti’s Garden Limited Edition Luxe Box, dropping 25 October 2025. Most importantly, it celebrates Tapputi’s clients, One Tribe, One Essence, whose loyalty and passion have shaped the brand’s journey

A Dream Eight Years in the Making

“From the very beginning, it’s been our dream to shoot in the heart of the Fayoum Desert,” says Founder and CEO, Alishia van Deventer.

“It took eight years of planning, patience, and persistence — but standing on those dunes overlooking the Magic Lake, it was clear this wasn’t just our dream; it was a celebration for every member of our tribe who believes in Tapputi.”

The team were led by internationally acclaimed Art Director & Photographer, Dina Yosry, and Creative Director, Danelle Liebenberg ElFar. The Tapputi team journeyed six hours from Port Said to Fayoum, one of the world’s oldest natural oases. The experience and photoshoot became a transformative and unforgettable production.

The adventure included dune rides, sandboarding, and fierce desert winds that challenged the team. But when the sun broke through, the desert revealed its magic. This provided the perfect canvas for Tapputi’s story of heritage, luxury, and connection.

The Setting: Fayoum’s Magic and Majesty

The Fayoum Desert is often called “Egypt’s Hidden Jewel”. It is also home to the mystical Magic Lake. Here, the colors shift with the sun, and the Valley of the Whales (Wadi El-Hitan), a UNESCO World Heritage Site preserving ancient whale fossils.

This unique landscape mirrors Tapputi’s philosophy. Blending ancient tradition with modern elegance. Creating a space where people, culture, and beauty converge.

An International Celebration of Essence

The shoot featured a collaboration of Egyptian and South African teams, with international models bringing Tapputi’s vision of unity, beauty, and luxury to life.
