Mi Casa Delivers an Unforgettable Friendship Cruise

The 2026 edition of the Mi Casa Friendship Cruise, presented by Heart FM, has officially wrapped – and once again, it delivered an unforgettable experience at sea.

Following the overwhelming success of its previous edition, thousands of guests boarded the elegant MSC Opera from 14-17 April 2026 for a three-night journey filled with music, laughter and meaningful connection. Departing from Cape Town into the Atlantic Ocean, the cruise transformed into a floating celebration of friendship, curated by award-winning trio Mi Casa.

From the moment guests stepped onboard, the energy was undeniable. Across multiple stages, the midweek voyage featured standout performances from a dynamic mix of South Africa’s most loved artists and DJs, including DJ Fresh, DJ Ready D, Tyrone Paulsen, Don Vino, Rowlene, and many more. Adding to the experience, comedy heavyweights Mpho Popps, Yaaseen Barnes and Kagiso Mokgadi delivered moments of laughter throughout. Each artist brought their unique sound and energy, creating a seamless journey across genres, generations and moods.

Mi Casa Welcomes Guests

The experience set sail with the hosts themselves. Mi Casa, welcomed guests on board and delivered a special four-track opening set. From there guests experienced everything from soulful live performances and nostalgic sing-alongs to high-energy dance floors. The festivities carried on into the early hours. Sunrise sessions, sunset decks and spontaneous moments of connection became defining highlights of the midweek. This, alongside immersive themed parties that kept the atmosphere vibrant throughout.

Life onboard struck a balance between comfort and celebration. From varied dining options and comfortable accommodations to pools, lounges, spa facilities and vibrant entertainment spaces, the MSC Opera created an easy flow between downtime and high-energy moments. Whether travelling with friends, family or solo, guests were brought together by a shared spirit of joy, music and connection.

2027 Friendship Cruise Dates Confirmed

Due to overwhelming demand and continued sell-out success, Mi Casa is proud to announce that the Friendship Cruise will officially return in February of 2027.

In an exciting new chapter, the experience will set sail from Durban and cruise toward the shores of Mozambique. Opening the door for even more supporters to come aboard and be part of the journey.
