The Snokonoko Dance Challenge Returns – ThatsAMove.co.za, in collaboration with recording artist Al Xapo, has officially announced an exciting update to the Snokonoko Challenge, increasing the prize money to R20,000 cash and introducing a new, more open creative format for participants across South Africa.
Originally launched as a dance challenge, the Snokonoko Challenge now invites participants to move beyond fixed choreography. Entrants are encouraged to create their own unique routines, interpreting the Snokonoko song in any style they choose. The only requirement is that the official Snokonoko track is used.
“This update is about creative freedom. We want to see people move how they feel, bring their own energy, and interpret the music in ways that are authentic to them,” says ThatsAMove.co.za Founder, Tiisetso Mosholi.
“Snokooko is a song about feeling and rhythm. There’s no right or wrong way to move to it. I want people to make it their own and show us how the music speaks to them,” says Al Xapo.
