One of SA`s most popular Afrikaans festivals are back! Liefde By Die Dam! Big names on a big stage with big sound!

Join us on Sunday 3 April in Johannesburg and Saturday 9 April in Cape Town for the joyous return of one of SA`s most established day-festivals. Liefde By Die Dam, named after Valiant Swart‘s famous hit song with the same name, showcases the best in local music in a picnic-style setting. This is the perfect day out for all ages with a diverse line-up of acts, delicious food, a fully stocked bar facility and non-stop entertainment.
Pierre Greeff from Die Heuwels Fantasties, who is also one of the organisers of Liefde, says that the key to the success of this popular event is that they strive to create and maintain a platform that features only the best that the South African music landscape has to offer. He says: “We know that every artist on the line-up will bring their A-game. Festivalgoers can expect to see their personal favorite artists with the best sound on a fantastic stage. We are working non- stop to prepare everything so that people can have the absolute best day out.”
The popular actor and comedian Schalk Bezuidenhout will be the MC at both concerts this year. Bezuidenhout, who kept us going through harsh lockdowns with his “Feeling good, feeling positive!” conversations on social media, says that festivalgoers can expect “a big one!” He explains: “The artists are hungry to perform. And we know that people are also hungry for a hell of a show! There is lots of love to go around. So come to the jol mense, let`s get together and fill each other up!”
Francois van Coke will be playing at the Johannesburg concert. He says that he is very happy with the announcement. “I have been part of the Liefde by die Dam family since the beginning. I am looking forward to being back on that incredible stage. Can`t wait folks, see you there!”
