More About Tondi Rams
Tondi Rams, born Rotondwa Ifa Fulufhelo Rambani, is a South African (Venda born) Singer-Songwriter and Producer with a heart set on spreading faith, hope & love. His music journey began with singing in the church choir, and forming music groups with friends and brothers in his formative years.
He learned guitar and began writing songs during his gap year, while studying music at the University of Venda. Tondi also studied music production and Sound Engineering at Emendy Technology Institute. Tondi has spent years honing his craft and discovering his identity as a music artist.
As a singer-songwriter versatile in his sonic expressions, his style can becategorized as acoustic pop, contemporary folk, indie, and r&b/soul.
He notes John Mayer, Leon Bridges, Damien Rice, PJ Morton, Ed Sheeran, and Bill Withers as some of his inspirations.
Born into a Christian home, Tondi was passionate about writing songs for his home church. One of the songs “Crazy” went on to become an anthem in churches across the world and was featured on We Will Worship’s YHWH album and Secret of Worship’s Grace album. Tondi went on to work with another Gospel sensation, King d music, co-writing and co-producing the album “Seasons” and various singles.
