He infuses them with a fresh, contemporary twist to captivate a new generation of soulful and deep house fans. ‘Believing’, featuring vocalist Kafele, remains one of UPZ’s most iconic singles. The track is regarded as a house classic in South African house music circles. It has amassed millions of streams across digital platforms, boosted by a fantastic afro house infused mix by DJ Qness.
Kafele, currently based in New York City, has previously collaborated with South African based producers Ralf Gum, Sir LSG & Gaba Cannal.

I touched base with Kafele who was happy to jump on board with some additional backing vocals and a fantastic new trumpet and sax solos. We both loved the overall outcome and hope listeners will love this reworked version too.”
