Released independently under their label Thundersun Productions, ‘Again & Again’ deepens NOWAND’s reputation for blending progressive, melodic, and electronic soundscapes with daring sound design. An immersive exploration of rhythm and texture, the track unfolds as an evolving tapestry where lush melodies intertwine with pulsating undercurrents. In its essence the song is about having to face a possible break up. This, with all the questions and confusion that heartbreak can stir up. ‘Again and Again‘ is based on expectations not being met or communicated. Not truly understanding the other and of having lost a precious connection. In many ways it’s an appeal for more honesty and clarity.

Mark Bahlig, a South African-German singer / songwriter, and Argentinian born musician, Gustavo Fasani, initiated a major shift in their lives in 2016. A dedicated transition into the world of music. NOWAND are commitment to creating music that moves the soul. It drives them forward in a never-ending quest to explore their inner realms and reveal it to the world.
Together with well known Berlin-based sound engineer and producer, Hannes Bieger, they spent several years taking their project to the next level. In February 2022 their debut album ‘Superhuman’ was released. This was preceded by two singles that included remixes by Hannes Bieger and Francesca Lombardo. The same year the title song was arranged and orchestrated for classical interpretation by composer and conductor, John Walton.
For the past two years NOWAND have been collaborating with artist and producer, EGGSTA. NOWAND is centered on music that incorporates elements of new wave, synth pop, dub and blues. This includes the timeless sounds of the eighties and nineties.
For both Mark and Gustavo, the NOWAND project has provided a channel for catharsis and regeneration. Now their intention is to provide the same outlet for their listeners.
