Featured 100 – Introducing Bongani Mavundla. – Bongani Mavundla is a 27 year old afro-soul artist hailing from Oribi Village, Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu Natal.
His love for music began when he was a young child, influenced by a variety of well known artists such as Chris Brown and Sjava. Bongani was inspired to explore and take his singing further after joining his church choir. He yearns for a platform to showcase his talents, to bring healing to people through music, and live out his passions.
Bongani has released three tracks to date. Namely, ‘Sinobizo‘, ‘Ithemba‘ and ‘Mtaka Baba.’ He also has two unreleased songs in his collection, namely ‘izinsuku azifani‘, and ‘Mntanomuntu.’
