Schedule 6ix and Freddy Aces Join Forces

A real street anthem

Schedule 6ix and Freddy Aces Join Forces – What happens when a former inmate, once a leader in a 26-member gang, finds a new path after prison and leverages his influence to motivate fellow inmates to strive for more, defying expectations and embracing a brighter future?

Schedule 6ix & Freddy Aces Link Up for new Street Anthem “Sgubhu Samataliyane.” The single drops on June 12 via Soldistro.

The title references of “Sgubhu Samataliyane”

Italiyane, slang from the 26 prison gang meaning “Italians” which is where the gang kingdom originates from. The track is a raw street anthem that fuses Hip Hop, Kwaito, and Amapiano/Rapiano into one uncompromising sound about taking over the music industry.

Schedule 6ix opens with Sotho lines and raps in gang slang. He delivers a message to every prisoner and hustler that life can change for the better. The track carries the rawness of Kwaito, while the flow and wordplay are pure Hip Hop with an intricate rhyme scheme.

Freddy Aces brings urban culture and ambition. Flexing in English and Kasi Zulu with the line “Ngifuna lonki saka lami.” (“I need all my money that the industry owes me.”) The catchy chorus ties it all together. Making it a record built for the streets and for repeat plays.

South African Hip Hop hasn’t had a real street anthem in a while. This is it,” says the duo.
