Sonwabile awarded international scholarship by U.S. Department of State – Sonwabile Gingqishe is a 28 year-old South African Actor and PR Specialist who recently earned a prestigious Media and Communications international scholarship worth R859,066.00. This comes after he impressed the selection committee of the U.S. Department of State’s CCIP.
Sonwabile bagged the scholarship with outstanding academic achievements. This, along with his passion for making a positive impact in the community through his work in the entertainment and PR industries. He plans to use this scholarship to further his education and continue pursuing his dreams of success on a global scale.
The Department of State works with Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) in cooperation with the Community College Consortium to administer the CCI program.
Sonwabile describes his journey and receiving the scholarship as a life-changing opportunity. He says the U.S. Department of State’s CCIP spent a lot of money making sure that the journey goes smoother and enjoyable for all the finalists who got awarded.
