Rock Icons LIVE Return to South Africa This December

American rock heavyweights LIVE are set to make their long-awaited return to South Africa this December, bringing their anthemic catalogue and electrifying live show back to local stages for the first time in almost a decade.

With a career spanning more than 30 years, LIVE remain one of the most recognisable alternative rock bands of the 90s and 2000s, known for era defining hits including Lightning Crashes, I Alone, All Over You and Heaven. Their previous South African tour was a record selling success. Packed venues and unforgettable performances that cemented their deep connection with local audiences. Now, in 2026, they return for two very special shows.

8 December 2026 – Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden

11 December 2026 – SunBet Arena at Time Square

The Pretoria date marks a particularly meaningful moment. LIVE were the very first band to perform on stage at SunBet Arena when the venue opened. Their return signals something of a full circle moment for both the band and their South African fans.

In Cape Town, audiences will experience LIVE in a breathtaking setting as they take to the lawns of Kirstenbosch for the first time ever, performing under the stars against the backdrop of Table Mountain.
