3 Face & Cee Launch Hip Hop Single ‘Revive’ – 3 FACE & CEE is a local, intergalactic, up-and-coming rap duo. The duo comprise of Cape Town based artists, Joshua Eagles and Cedrik Aberle.
About 3 Face & Cee
Starting their music journey in 2016, during a freestyle rap session in high school, the dynamic duo became friends and as a result, started producing.
With 3FACE’s higher-pitched tone and CEE’s melodramatic offering, the vocal contrast makes for the perfect marriage in vocals. This, melding with an ethereal, yet melodic sound.
Also, writing and creative directing their own projects, leading up to the launch of their first concept album. The God Complex was released in 2020.
The duo continue to reinvent their style and have evolved into a versatile, genre bending group combining their individual music styles and hip hop skills to create a fusion of dance, disco and retro music that appeal to all ages.
As far as influences go, the duo are also inspired by an array of international artists. Namely, Mac Miller, Doja Cat, Earth gang, including American Rapper, Isaiah Rashad. The cosmic duo effortlessly continue onward, to infinity and beyond. Aiming to search and find new depths in rhythm and poetry. Additionally, 3FACE & CEE’s skillset encompasses directing and producing their own videos as well.
Ultimately, the duo aim at creating new stories to tell, and worlds to explore. The duo create music with an exploration into love, psychedelics and the endless wonder of space.
Alongside music that ultimately teleports listeners to a new world of feelings, they march forth with attention to their mission. Endeavoring to elevate consciousness, while simultaneously bringing positivity through the music they make.
The Breakthrough
Their latest single ‘Revive‘ is currently featured on the popular Netflix hit show Blood and Water. The series is about a Cape Town teen who sets out to prove that a private-school swimming star she met at a party, is her sister. As can be seen, her sister was notably abducted at birth.
The song perfectly displays the new tone they are trying to set. They now prepare for the next hit singles they are currently working on. Furthermore, the duo are looking to break into the SA and International scene.
At present, they intend to release six new singles under their name in the coming months. Their followers have much to look forward to.
