Neo Ndawo is no stranger to the music scene having produced for many heavyweights in the South African music industry, namely; Loki, Mnqobi Yazo, Fifi Cooper, Tyler ICU, & Yashna, to mention a few. This time however he is back with new music, an EP titled ‘Lingo 3‘, the 3rd and final instalment of the 3-part sequel; delivering it as both the lead artist and producer.
The project features seven tracks, each showcasing Neo Ndawo’s multifaceted skillset, as well as unique sound. It also features some of the hottest names in the Durban music scene, including artists: Yashna, Macarisma, Buddha, Bino, PATFROMTHESLUMS, Skorch Supernova, Tony Taylor, and Stix Jnr.
With a culmination of genres such as Rap, Hip-Hop, and Durban street culture, the sound of Lingo 3 is a perfect representation of Neo’s artistic versatility; and also provides an insight into the sound that inspired and paved the way for Neo Ndawo as a creative. The musicality of the project flows effortlessly, whilst also being hard-hitting, making it impossible not to move to the beat.
