Jodie Reid releases an escapist treat with her second album ‘Celtic Commotion’
Acoustic Singer/Songwriter and instrumentalist Jodie Reid has released her second album ‘Celtic
Commotion’ into the airwaves.
Inspired by the ongoings of Vikings, Celts and regular Medieval Folk, the organic, insightful stories of Celtic Commotion will have your senses engaged and your mind marvelling in no time.
All ten tracks were recorded in the comfort of the artist’s home amongst a selection of
instruments, kitchenware, squeaky toys and an over-active imagination.
One of these tracks entitled ‘The Cloaked Man’ featuring Brendon Green has received airplay on radio stations in South Africa, USA, UK and Australia to date.
Appraisers of Celtic-Folk music who fancy a bit of escapism into a simpler time with bountiful Martyrs, Cloaked Men, Jokers and Dragons need look no further than Celtic Commotion.
