Introducing Hip-Hop’s Upcoming Toxic SA – With the devastating passing of our beloved Riky Rick Makhado and in the spirit of continuing his legacy – uplifting and supporting young artists who feel hopeless, with no way of cutting a break in the particularly brutal music industry – we wanted to share with you a young man from Beaufort, Eastern Cape who touched our hearts with his struggle. Sometimes it takes just ONE person to believe in you, to trigger a breakthrough, a change…
Introducing Aviwe Sindaphi, AKA Toxic SA, a 22 year old independent Hip-Hop artist, vocalist & model with the most uplifting smile, who expresses the raw and uncut realities of his life through his music. Attending South Cape College in George, this inspiring young artist later moved to the Eastern Cape with the ambition to motivate others through his lyrics and music.
“Help me encourage these kids who grew up under the influence of drugs and got parents that are addicted to alcohol. There’s no progress in my city” ~ Toxic SA
Toxic SA may not have got much exposure to his music as yet, but we believe that this young man from the hardened streets of the Eastern Cape will rise above the obstacles, continue inspiring others, and catch his break with persistence and hard work. We rise by lifting others, and what better way to do this than through music, the universal language that brings us together that we all can relate to.
The track ‘I’m Learning‘ says it all…
