JACK HARLOW IS BACK WITH THE REMIX!
The rising Louisville, KY rapper returns with the star-studded official remix of “WHATS POPPIN,” featuring Lil Wayne, DaBaby and Tory Lanez, along with a brand new verse from Jack, himself, out now via Generation Now/Atlantic Records.
“WHATS POPPIN” dropped at the top of this historic year and things haven’t been the same for me or the world since. I knew the record was special, but it continues to exceed my inner circle and I’s expectations.
Getting Da Baby and Tory Lanez on the record is very exciting, especially because they both delivered. But Lil Wayne hopping on is a dream come true; a real bucket list achievement. Something I can say was done for the place I’m from – Louisville, Kentucky.
This is a moment all of my city and state can be proud of despite these difficult times. Thank you to my fans for making this far, because without them I wouldn’t have any of it. To the top we go.“
– JACK HARLOW
The “WHATS POPPIN” remix comes as the 22-year-old celebrates the original version’s RIAA-platinum certification of the jetsonmadeit & Pooh Beatz-produced hit single, marking Jack’s first ever RIAA-Platinum certified song.
The song which was released in January and then appeared on Harlow’s latest, Sweet Action EP, released in March has amassed 370M streams worldwide, 68M views on the official music video to date, while continuing to skyrocket up the charts with current peaks including #5 at Rhythm radio, #7 at Urban radio and #16 on the Billboard Hot 100, with no signs of slowing down.
Named MTV’s global PUSH Artist You Need To Hear for the month of May, Jack made his national television debut in February with a performance of “WHATS POPPIN” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
In addition to the growing success of “WHATS POPPIN,” Jack has kept busy during quarantine, releasing collaborations with G-Eazy (“Moana”) and Smokepurp (“Tide Pen)” along with contributing new music of his own to soundtracks including “Yikes” featured in the latest Scooby Doo film, SCOOB! and the upcoming song “Automatic,” the lead song from the highly-anticipated Madden NFL 21 soundtrack, serving as the featured song in the video game’s official trailer.
A lifelong Louisville native, Jack recently returned home to lead a weekend of Black Lives Matter marches and protests in response to the death of Breonna Taylor and to end systematic racism and police brutality and reflected on the world’s current events with the powerful freestyle, “Only Way“.
