AYRTON debuts with ‘I Will Go Far’ – South Africa’s rising star AYRTON is set to make his mark in the music industry with the release of his debut single and the music video for “I Will Go Far,” now available on all digital platforms.
A Journey of Strength, Determination, and Passion
AYRTON’s path to becoming a musician began with an early and undeniable connection to sound. Reflecting on his journey, he shares, “Music always spoke to me in ways words couldn’t, giving me a sense of purpose and emotional release. It started with small moments like hearing songs that moved me, picking up an instrument for the first time, and feeling the thrill of creating something new. Over time, that quiet passion grew into a dream.”
Despite life’s challenges, AYRTON found solace in music, which served as his escape and constant companion. He continued creating music on the side for four to five years, all while working as a barman and waiter at pubs. Eventually, he received the opportunity to take his music career seriously.
AYRTON Comments on ‘I will go far’
“I realized that being a musician was more than a dream; it was who I was meant to be,” he says. “Despite the challenges, the drive to connect through music has kept me going, turning a personal passion into a full-fledged pursuit to become one of the next best artists out there.”
This passion and drive culminate in AYRTON’s debut single, “I Will Go Far,” which serves as an anthem for those striving to overcome obstacles and believe in their dreams.
“‘I Will Go Far’ was inspired by my own experiences with overcoming obstacles and the determination I found along the way. I wanted to capture that feeling of pushing through challenges and believing in oneself despite the odds,” AYRTON explains.
The single’s heartfelt lyrics weave a personal narrative of resilience, ambition, and unwavering commitment to achieving one’s goals.
“The message behind my single is that there’s always a bright side to things. No matter how dark things get, if you really put your mind to it, the future will bring what you’re working toward.”
The Creative Process
Working with renowned producer Matthew Fink, AYRTON found a collaborator who brought his vision to life. Describing the experience as “unexplainable,” AYRTON praises Fink’s ability to capture the authenticity of the moment in the studio. “Matthew is brilliant at what he does. It was truly an honour working with him.”
A New Voice in Country Pop
AYRTON’s sound is a unique blend of country pop, combining catchy melodies with uplifting themes. His influences span from the genre-bending approach of Post Malone to the heartfelt authenticity of Zach Bryan and the raw emotional honesty of Noah Kahan. AYRTON aspires to create music that’s both inspirational and relatable, blending emotional depth with anthemic soundscapes.

The Music Video
The music video for “I Will Go Far,” is directed by Leon Barnardt from LB Videography. It is a powerful visual representation of AYRTON’s journey. The concept follows AYRTON as he hitchhikes away from home in a VW Bus. Taking along nothing but his guitar, which symbolizes his hopes of making it far with his music. The video captures moments of inspiration as he listens to and writes music on his journey.
Shot along a mountain pass in Alberton, the scenic road-trip backdrop perfectly complements the song’s message. Chasing dreams and finding freedom. Leon Barnardt, the music video’s producer/director, shared his thoughts on the project.
“It was an incredible experience working on this music video with AYRTON. His passion and connection to the music came through in every scene. One challenge was coordinating the moving shots on the road while keeping everything smooth and dynamic, but it pushed us to be creative, and the final result really brings that sense of freedom and ambition to life.”
