Today, multi-Platinum chart-topping singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Lauv returns with a brand new single entitled “26” available everywhere now via Virgin Music Label & Artist Services. It marks his first release of 2022 and sets the stage for the arrival of his anxiously awaited second full-length album due to arrive later in 2022 – details to come.
On the track, Lauv leans on a sped-up guitar riff and hypnotic beat. Over this nuanced soundscape, his confessional lyrics paint a vivid picture with cinematic and reflective lines such as, “Can I tell you a story about a boy who broke his own heart and he always blamed everybody else, but the truth is that he did it to himself.”

About “26,” Lauv shared, “26 is the first song from my next album. It’s the moment I woke up and realized I needed to do some work to get back to the kid I was before my life and career got so crazy.”
