V8BAKARI was Born Hamilton Sílvio Mutaleno on 30 May 1995. He is an independent, international artist hailing from Angola, South West Africa. The young music producer began his career in 2011 with the vision of reviving African Folklore Music through various genres. Namely, Rumba Congolaise and Kwassa-Kwassa. These sounds were perfectly married with Afrobeat, Amapiano, Dancehall, and Reggaeton music alike, bringing a unique depth and soul to V8BAKARI’s music that resonates effortlessly with both young and old.
His Début EP, ‘In the Name of Music’ was released in 2023. The EP served as a tribute to African musicians and of the African sound, coming forth to take it’s much deserved seat as international music. V8BAKARI took the EP on tour reaching PALOP and Anglophone markets, both in Africa and Europe.
