The seasoned A&R who’s often credited with helping establish now hugely successful artists is taking his eye for the next big thing to his own label.

Rising ATL-based artist Foogiano became the first artist signed to Gucci Mane’s The New 1017, and his signing was soon followed by even more fresh talent hand chosen by Atlanta rap icon Gucci Mane.

In addition to showcasing his 1017 signees, the stacked mixtape also includes features from Future, 21 Savage, Young Thug, Lil Baby, and more.

GUCCI MANE PRESENTS: SO ICY SUMMER includes Gucci Mane’s recently released hit tracks, “Both Sides (Feat. Lil Baby)” and “Still Remember (Feat. Pooh Shiesty),” available now for individual streaming and download. In addition, both songs are joined by official companion videos, streaming now at YouTube.

The mixtape further features Foogiano’s “The Plan,” recently released tracks from Memphis, TN-based rapper Pooh Shiesty “Monday To Sunday (Feat. Lil Baby & Big 30),” “Main Slime Remix (Feat. Moneybagg Yo & Tay Keith),” and “ABCGE (Feat. BIG30),” as well as So Icy Girlz’s “1st Day Signed,” and the team effort “SoIcyBoyz” by Big Scarr, Pooh Shiesty, and Foogiano.

Along with the new music, Gucci Mane is also readying his highly-anticipated follow-up to 2017’s critically acclaimed New York Times bestseller, The Autobiography of Gucci Mane.

The Gucci Mane Guide to Greatness arrives October 13th via Simon and Schuster; pre-orders are available HERE.

“This book should touch people who are going through something,” says Gucci Mane. “It’s not going to be easy. But study these words and put them into action. I want this book to keep you motivated.”

Widely regarded as the most influential underground rapper of the past decade, Gucci Mane has more Top 10 albums on Billboard’s “Top Rap Albums” chart and more Top 20 singles that any other hip-hop artist in history.

GUCCI MANE PRESENTS: SO ICY SUMMER follows last winter’s release of EAST ATLANTA SANTA 3, the final installment of his EAST ATLANTA SANTA series featuring tracks like “She Miss Me (Feat. Rich The Kid)” and “Tony (Feat. Quavo).” 2019 also saw the release of WOPTOBER II, Gucci’s 15th studio album and monumental 101st project overall.

The LP made a top 10 debut on the SoundScan/Billboard 200 upon its October release – Gucci’s seventh top 10 debut thus far – fueled by a string of singles/videos including “Richer Than Errybody (Feat. YoungBoy Never Broke Again & DaBaby)” and “Big Booty (Feat. Megan Thee Stallion).” WOPTOBER II in turn followed the June release of the smash mixtape, DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR, highlighted by the summer anthems, “Love Thru The Computer (Feat. Justin Bieber),” “Backwards (Feat. Meek Mill),” and “Proud Of You.”

The prolific icon’s many other career highlights include such classic albums as 2018’s EVIL GENIUS, 2017’s EL GATO: THE HUMAN GLACIER, and that same year’s RIAA gold certified MR. DAVIS, the latter highlighted by the 4x platinum hit single, “I Get The Bag (Feat. Migos),” joined by a massively popular companion video now boasting over 492 million views at Gucci Mane’s official YouTube channel alone.
